We are currently seeking experienced Aged Care Chefs to join our team in Brisbane.

What you will have:
Previous experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen environment
Previous experience in aged care cookery
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
A valid driver's licence
Flexibility to work shifts typically scheduled Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, noting that hours may vary depending on the site.
Ability to provide or obtain a valid Police Check
Working With Children Check (Blue Card) is highly regarded, but not strictly needed.
Knowledge of dietary requirements and experience catering to a range of nutritional needs.
Ability to independently prepare and cook meals for a small group of residents.




Experience working with care teams to meet individual dietary needs, including allergies, intolerances and cultural preferences.
Familiarity with HACCP standards, WHS requirements and safe food-handling practices.
Ability to maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Genuine care and compassion for the wellbeing of residents.
Uniform
: White long-sleeved Chef jacket, chef pants, knives, apron, chef hat, safety shoes
