We're on the hunt for a vet nurse to join our friendly, down-to-earth team in a true mixed practice where no two days are the same. Located in the heart of central Queensland's cattle country a friendly rural community with a robust sporting, farming and equine culture.
About Us
Genuine mixed practice, with caseload approximately 35% equine, 35% small animal, 30% cattle
Fully-equipped clinic offering 24-hour emergency care, surgery and dentistry
Ambulatory equine and mixed practice services
A supportive, close-knit team with 100+ years of combined experience
About the Role
Full-time position 76 hours/fortnight, for immediate start
Hands on nursing role working across our services – including administering medication,



anaesthetic preparation and monitoring and supporting our veterinary and reception team, in clinic and on the road
What We're Looking For
Cert IV or vet tech qualification highly regarded
Ideally 2 years minimum experience in small or mixed animal nursing
Positive, can-do attitude with strong communication skills
Strict attention to detail, record keeping skills and able to follow instructions
A genuine team player
