Membership Growth & Engagement
to play a key role in supporting and growing our membership community. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine impact within a respected industry association while working with a friendly, supportive team.
About the Role
As the primary point of contact for current and prospective members, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding member service, driving membership growth, and ensuring members are engaged and receiving maximum value from their association membership.
You'll work closely with the CEO and broader team to develop membership initiatives, support industry events, coordinate communications, and maintain strong relationships with members, sponsors, and industry stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Membership Services
Act as the first point of contact for member and membership enquiries via phone, email, online channels, and social media.
Process new membership applications, renewals, and member onboarding activities.
Welcome and induct new members, ensuring they understand and access the full range of membership benefits.
Maintain accurate member records and CRM data.
Conduct regular member outreach and engagement activities.
Prepare monthly membership reports and monitor membership trends.
Follow up outstanding accounts and renewals.
Membership Growth
Identify, nurture, and convert membership leads.
Follow up enquiries promptly and professionally to drive membership sales.
Promote the value and benefits of membership to prospective members.




Contribute ideas and insights to membership campaigns, retention strategies, and member engagement initiatives.
Events & Member Engagement
Assist with the coordination and delivery of member events throughout the year.
Manage registrations, attendee enquiries, event materials, catering, venue requirements, name badges, and post-event surveys.
Support major industry events including flagship conferences, expos, and awards programs.
Assist with member communications, surveys, and online community engagement.
About You
You are energetic, organised, and genuinely enjoy building relationships with people. You take initiative, thrive in a small team environment, and enjoy balancing customer service, administration, sales, and event support responsibilities.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar membership, sales, customer service, administration, or engagement role.
Proven ability to identify opportunities and convert enquiries into positive outcomes.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Highly Regarded
Experience within a membership-based association or not-for-profit organisation.
Qualifications in administration, communications, event management, or a related field.
Knowledge of or experience within the landscaping, horticulture, or construction industries.
