About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Analyst to join our growing PMO and Operations team at O'Brien®. This is a key role within our Digital Transformation program, where you will partner with business and technology stakeholders to deliver meaningful change.
Working closely with the Program Manager, technical teams, and business leaders, you will act as the critical link between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring outcomes are aligned, efficient, and customer-focused.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive BA who thrives in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment and is passionate about driving business improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Elicit, analyse and validate business and system requirements
Facilitate stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions and interviews
Collaborate with solution architects, developers and SMEs to design and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions
Produce high-quality business analysis artefacts, including:
User stories & acceptance criteria
Process maps & models
Requirements traceability matrices (RTMs)
Wireframes and documentation across all requirement types
Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions to support successful delivery
Ensure solutions deliver a strong customer and user experience

What We're Looking For
We're looking for a Business Analyst who brings both technical capability and strong stakeholder engagement skills. You'll align with our values of

Key requirements include:
5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst
Background in retail, consumer goods, supply chain, or similar industries (highly regarded)
Solid expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven experience delivering projects to tight timelines and milestones
Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence (essential), AML (advantageous)
Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. IT, Business, Computer Science, IIBA)
