Our client, an iconic Brisbane venue steeped in history and tradition, is currently seeking a trade-qualified Mechanic specialising in agricultural equipment and small engines to join their team based in Ascot.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with an organisation committed to maintaining exceptional presentation standards and delivering outstanding customer experiences across one of Brisbane's most recognised event destinations.
About the Role
As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a range of agricultural machinery and small engine equipment. Experience working with diesel engines will be highly regarded.
The role also involves maintaining accurate records, monitoring workshop supplies and budgets, and assisting in the development of maintenance schedules to ensure equipment performance, reliability,



and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Service, diagnose, and repair agricultural and small engine equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and fault finding
Assist with repairs and maintenance of diesel-powered equipment
Maintain records of servicing and repairs completed
Monitor workshop supplies, inventory, and budgets
Work collaboratively with team members while also operating independently
Develop and implement maintenance schedules
Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently
About You
Trade qualified Motor Mechanic or equivalent
Experience working on agricultural equipment and small engines
Diesel engine experience advantageous
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to work autonomously and within a team
Good organisational and communication skills
Safety-focused with strong attention to detail
