Overview
Disability Life Skills Supporter (South-Western Sydney) – Permanent part-time mobile role with Uniting. You will engage with participants living with various physical and mental disabilities under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) across homes in Southwestern Sydney (e.g., Campbelltown, Liverpool, Fairfield, etc.).
Base pay range and hours
$*****/hr (SCHADS Level 2 base rate with salary packaging perks, penalty rates, and superannuation).
This is a permanent part-time role of at least 15 hours per week (Saturday fixed) with opportunities to pick up additional shifts across weekdays as required. Salary packaging benefits up to $18,550 per year.
What you will be doing
Aiding with daily life activities and assistance for community support, such as attending a doctor's appointment and shopping.
Supporting individuals with their educational and work-related endeavours.
Facilitating access to various community, social, and recreational activities.
Assisting with transportation to enable access to daily activities and engagements.
Who we are looking for
Previous experience in psychosocial disabilities




Good communication skills and ability to do case notes through a mobile phone
Valid NSW Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check
NSW Driver's license (can be on Green P Plates), access to a reliable car, and comprehensive car insurance
First Aid Certificate
Desirable: Certificate III or IV in Disability or Individual Support
