Pacific Hills Christian School

We are seeking Out of School Hours Assistants to join our Before and After School Care team. The successful applicant must be available for morning & afternoon hours and vacation care.
This is a casual position.
To be effective in this position the successful applicant should have:
Working knowledge of current childcare legislation, including the EYLF and MTOP framework
An understanding of the National Quality Laws and Regulations is desirable
Previous experience working with children, preferably primary school-aged children, is not essential but will be highly regarded
Education and Care First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis management certifications or be willing to obtain
Child Protection Accredited Child Protection CHCPRT001
Duties include:
Deliver the Before, After and Vacation Care programs under the supervision and direction of the Educational Leaders and Director




Build a healthy relationship with children and their families
Assist in delivering the service in accordance with appropriate policies and standards
Assist with administration as required by the Director
Operation Hours are Monday to Friday:
Before School 6:30am to 9:00am
After School 2:00pm to 6:30pm
Vacation Care (School Holidays) 8:00am to 5:00pm. Vacation care periods may have different shift requirements that can be negotiated
Additional hours may be required for administration and other preparations
