As the OOSH Centre Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing a thriving OOSH centre with a capacity for 120 children per day, children aged between 5-12 years, during school terms, and Vacation care during the School holidays. This is a full-time role that will see you overseeing all aspects of the centre's operations, vacation care, staffing and budgeting, program development and compliance.
What you'll be doing
Providing strong leadership and direction to the OOSH team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment,
Working with our Educational Leader to implement and develop an engaging educational programs that aligns with the needs of the children,
Ensuring the centre meets all relevant regulatory and licensing requirements,
Managing the centre's budget and financial operations, including payroll and family accounts,
Overseeing the recruitment, training and development of employees at OOSH,
Building and maintaining positive relationships with families, the local community and other stakeholders,
Continuously seeking ways to improve the quality of care and education provided at the OOSH.
What we're looking for
A Certificate 3 or Diploma ACECQA approved qualification in Early Childhood Education,
Extensive experience (5+ years) in a senior Early Education leadership role,
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team and lead the strategic direction of an OOSH,
Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, regulatory requirements and best practice in early childhood education,
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with families and the community,
Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and innovation,
