Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Spatial Analyst to support a major enterprise spatial technology transformation program. The role will focus on supporting the migration of spatial platforms to modern cloud-based environments, assisting with enterprise spatial database initiatives, and providing ongoing support, administration, and enhancement of critical GIS systems.
The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise across enterprise GIS platforms, spatial databases, web mapping technologies, and spatial data management.
Key Responsibilities
Support enterprise spatial technology migration and modernisation initiatives
Administer and maintain GIS platforms, ensuring availability, performance, and reliability
Develop and enhance spatial applications, web mapping solutions, services, and workflows
Provide specialist advice on spatial technologies, architecture, and best practices
Skills & Experience
5+ years experience working with enterprise GIS and spatial technology environments
ArcGIS Desktop / ArcGIS Pro
ArcGIS Server
ArcGIS Online
ArcGIS Portal
Geocortex
Strong SQL development and database management skills
Experience working with Oracle Spatial and/or PostgreSQL/PostGIS
Spatial ETL experience using FME Desktop and FME Server highly regarded
Exposure to cloud-based spatial systems and environments is desirable
Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experience working within IT Service Management ITIL environments
