We
currently have opportunities
within our Flooding team for a
Project or Senior Engineer
with solid numerical modelling and project management skills to join our team in
South Brisbane
.
Flood modelling, flood management and flood studies to carry out technical analysis, data collection, interpretation, relevant calculations for modelling and report writing to contribute to projects across Australia.
Applying your technical and commercial input in proposals and identifying business opportunities.
Mentor junior team members and lead projects
Identify learning and development opportunities that benefit the team
We are seeking people
who are passionate about making a meaningful impact and driving positive change in flood risk management and
innovative water management practices
.
What we are looking for:
A Bachelors Degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering or a Bachelor of Science
Significant experience in hydrological and hydraulic modelling (TUFLOW & GIS)
Experience in management of small to medium projects
Consulting or council/local government experience (preferably 5+ years for project level,
8+ years for Senior level)
Passion for environmental and water sustainability and management, and an interest in the impacts of flood events
Strong report writing skills (there will be an assessment as part of the hiring process if you are shortlisted)
