Front Office professional
to join our team in Sydney. This is a
full-time position
based at our Sydney NSW **** location. As a Front Office professional, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, playing a vital role in creating a positive and memorable experience from the moment they arrive. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our hospitality business and directly impacts guest satisfaction and retention. You will be responsible for managing check-ins and check-outs, handling inquiries, processing reservations, and ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their stay.
Key responsibilities
Greeting guests with professionalism and warmth, ensuring they feel welcome upon arrival
Processing guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
Managing reservations, amendments and cancellations using our property management system
Handling guest inquiries and requests promptly, providing information about facilities and local attractions
Processing payments and maintaining accurate financial records
Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs and concerns
Managing the front desk during assigned shifts, including telephone and email correspondence
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the front office area
Resolving guest complaints and issues with professionalism and discretion
Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and documentation
Promoting hotel services and facilities to enhance guest experience and encourage repeat bookings
What we're looking for
Proven experience in a front office or guest services role within a hospitality environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues
Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously




Proficiency with hotel management systems and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, particularly during busy periods
Skilled appearance and presentation standards befitting a customer-facing role
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required
Problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
Attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions and managing information
Relevant hospitality qualifications or certifications (preferred but not essential)
Experience with multiple international guests and cultural awareness (advantageous)
