Senior Recover at Work Advisorto join our high-performing and supportive Recover at Work team at UnitingCare Queensland.
In this influential role,you'llpartner with leaders across the organisation to drive proactive wellbeing and recovery outcomes, championing early intervention strategies and the benefits of effective return to work practices. Working collaboratively with managers, employees,insurersand key stakeholders,you'llprovideexpert guidance, coaching and support to ensurebest-practiceclaims management and positive outcomes for our people. Full Time. Flexibility is important to us, and we know it is to youtoo - this role supports hybrid working by agreement. Your part in our UnitingCare team:
Manage and support Recover at Work and early intervention programs, helping employees achieve safe and sustainable return to work outcomes. Partner with leaders toprovideexpert advice, coaching and practical solutions on workplace rehabilitation and recovery strategies.
Oversee complex workers' compensation and recovery cases, developing clear plans and driving positive outcomes. Identifyand address barriers to recovery, providing recommendations that balance employee wellbeing with operational needs. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, includingEML, healthcare providers and internal leaders.
Monitor trends,maintainaccuratecaserecordsand provide reporting and insights to support informed decision-making. Collaborate with Health, Safety and Wellbeing teams to implement initiatives that reduce workplace injuries and promote a positive safety culture. What makes a difference for us?
Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies. This may include a
Nationally Coordinated Police CheckandRight to Work in Australia.



Tertiary Allied Health qualification or similar and-or extensive experience in Recover at
Work services. Strong experience in workers' compensation, injurymanagementand Recover at Work, with a proventrack recorddelivering positive outcomes in complex organisations.
Confident managing complex and high-volume caseloads, achieving sustainable return to work outcomes while supporting employee wellbeing. Experience working across geographically dispersed teams and multiple business streams, partnering with leaders and employees across diverse operational environments. Skilled at coaching and influencing managers, building capability in early intervention, recovery and return to work practices.
Excellent communication, stakeholderengagementand analytical skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships, interpret data andidentifyopportunities for continuous improvement.
