Our Facilities Team plays a vital hands-on role in maintaining and enhancing our College campuses to provide safe, functional, and welcoming environments for students, staff, and visitors.
We are seeking a proactive and skilled
Grounds and Maintenance Officer
to join our Facilities Team. This hands-on role is primarily responsible for the landscaping, presentation, and upkeep of our College grounds while also undertaking general maintenance activities that support the day-to-day operation of our campuses.
This position is offered on a
full time basis
; however, we are open to discussing a
part-time arrangement for the right candidate
. With consistent Monday to Friday hours, the role offers excellent work-life balance while building a rewarding and stable career.
Your Role
Maintain the College grounds through landscaping, gardening, irrigation, turf care, and grounds maintenance.
Undertake landscaping projects and general maintenance, including minor building repairs and painting.
Safely operate and maintain grounds equipment, machinery, and tools.




Work collaboratively with the Facilities Team, contractors, and College staff.
Assist with campus projects, event setups, relocations, and other operational duties.
Support a positive team culture aligned with the College's Christian mission and values.
About You
Experience in landscaping, horticulture, grounds, and general maintenance.
Skilled in operating grounds maintenance equipment and power tools.
Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work safely in a school environment and undertake physically demanding work.
Hold an Open Manual Driver's Licence and a Blue Card (or be willing to obtain one before commencement).
A practising Christian or someone who actively supports the College's Christian mission and values.
