Our continued growth across NSW and ACT has created an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly organised Rostering Coordinator to join our Urgent Care team.
About the Role
The Rostering Coordinator helps ensure Urgent Care Clinics (UCC) and Urgent Care Services (UCS) across NSW and the ACT run smoothly and efficiently.
Reporting to the Urgent Care Workforce Lead, this role is responsible for coordinating GP locum rosters, onboarding new doctors, supporting workforce planning, and managing invoices. This role suits someone who is organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy healthcare environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Please note that this position includes working on a 1 in 3 weekend roster.
Key Responsibilities
Rostering & Workforce Coordination
Create and manage GP rosters in partnership with Regional Managers, Practice Managers, GP Recruiters, and the National Urgent Care team.
Monitor rosters to make sure all clinics have the staff they need.
Quickly resolve roster gaps, shift conflicts, and urgent staffing requests.
Process shift swaps, leave requests, and on-call rosters during holiday periods.
Look for ways to improve rostering processes and make them more efficient.
Prepare regular staffing and roster reports for the General Manager NSW/ACT.
Workforce Planning
Review staffing data and trends to help plan future workforce needs.
Support staffing plans for current clinics, extended operating hours, seasonal demand, and service changes.
Work with recruitment and operations teams to prepare for staffing shortages and put backup plans in place.
Helpensure clinics remain appropriately staffed during busy periods or unexpected absences.
Coordinate the onboarding of GP locums across all NSW and ACT Urgent Care Clinics.
Organise travel and accommodation for locums when urgent or short-notice cover is needed.
Compliance & Operational Support
Make sure rostering follows workplace laws, company policies, and industry requirements.
Help develop and maintain rostering policies and procedures.
Keep accurate workforce records and complete regular audits.
Provide advice and support to managers and team members on rostering processes and compliance.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Proven experience in rostering coordination, workforce planning and general administration
Previous experience within a healthcare, primary care, or urgent care environment highly regarded
Strong organisational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Sound understanding of workforce compliance, labour regulations, and operational processes
A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset
Minimum 3years' experience in an administrative capacity.
