THE OPPORTUNITY
Matthew Flinders Anglican College is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic
Secondary Teacher – Design
for a permanent, full-time position commencing in ****.
We are seeking a teacher with strong subject knowledge and a passion for developing students' creativity, critical thinking and practical problem-solving skills. The successful applicant will deliver engaging and well-structured learning experiences, build positive relationships with students and contribute to the broader life of the College.
ABOUT YOU
The successful applicant will be a collaborative colleague who maintains high professional standards and is committed to supporting the learning, wellbeing and achievement of every student. Experience teaching Design across the secondary years, including Senior Design,



and a sound understanding of the relevant Australian Curriculum and Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority syllabus requirements will be highly regarded.
Experience using contemporary design technologies, digital design tools, prototyping processes and project-based learning approaches would also be advantageous.
Applicants must hold, or be eligible to hold, current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
