The Role:
Located at our Tomago site, we have a permanent onsite position for a motivated and experienced
Low Speed Vehicles Internal Sales Representative
to join our EMC Electric Vehicles team. This position will assist in delivering on time, fit for purpose low speed vehicle solutions and products to our customers.
To be considered for this role you should have:
Minimum of 3 years B2B Sales Experience ideally in the automotive, EV, Industrial equipment or Fleet Solutions.
Technical aptitude. The ability to understand vehicle specifications, mechanical, charging systems and operational requirements.
Proven negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals with Customers while seeking opportunities to value add.
Previous telephone sales and quotation experience with an ability to close deals.
Demonstratable experience in identify and qualify prospective customers through cold calls, networking, referrals, and digital outreach.
Demonstratable strong customer sales focus, high emotional intelligence and customer‐centric mindset
Experience in scheduling service work or other after sales skills would be highly regarded.
CRM and reporting skills for pipeline management.
Strong presentation, written communication and interpersonal skills.
An understanding of Australian Consumer Law.
An ability to work independently or as part of a bigger Team.
The purpose of this role is to:
Generate new opportunities from telephone and web leads within 24 hours.
Generate quotations as a result of telephone and web interactions.
Be responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets for low speed electric vehicles (LSEV's) primarily in the NSW, South Australian & Victorian markets but interacting with customers in other Australian States & Territories as may be required from time to time.
Fill in for other Sales personnel as required.
To focus on identifying new business opportunities, managing a sales pipeline, nurturing customer relationships and driving market penetration in commercial, industrial, tourism and Government sectors.
To achieve maximum sales profitability for the EMC business unit.
To schedule Service Work and other after sales activities.
