Cumberland Country Golf Club is seeking an experienced Greenkeeper / Groundsperson to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining the pristine playing surfaces and landscaping of our prestigious golf course located in Greystanes, NSW.
What you'll be doing
Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and aerating fairways, greens, and other turf areas
Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment and machinery
Assist with the implementation of integrated pest management programs
Monitor and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal soil moisture levels
Identify and address any issues or hazards to ensure the golf course is safe and well-presented
Provide exceptional customer service to our members and guests
What we're looking for
Experience as a Greenkeeper or Grounds person in a golf course or similar setting but not essential
Proficiency in the operation and maintenance of various landscaping equipment and machinery
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results
Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
Passion for maintaining exceptional playing conditions and a well-presented golf course
Current driver's license and willingness to obtain relevant licenses and certifications
