Provide specialist psychiatric care that changes lives while building your career in regional Queensland. Based in Dalby, this role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality mental health care across inpatient and community settings, lead multidisciplinary collaboration, support future clinicians, and contribute to better outcomes for individuals, families and communities.
You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $339,279 (L14) comprising salary rates between $***** (L13) and $***** p.h. (L14), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, locality allowance, inaccessibility incentive, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to *****%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value. This is a permanent full time, 80 hours per fortnight role.

As a Senior Medical Officer Psychiatry, you'll play a vital role in improving the mental health and wellbeing of people across the region.

You lead with integrity and navigate complex clinical situations with dignity and respect. The work you do will help people access the support they need, progress their recovery journey and experience better quality of life.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
Medical degree and eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
Significant experience delivering high-quality psychiatric assessment, treatment and clinical care.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
A commitment to clinical governance, continuous improvement, education and patient safety.
You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in regional or diverse healthcare settings.
