They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper who is excited to support clients on their growth journey, an ideal position for someone eager to learn and bring others along with them. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of bookkeeping work, including:
Provide day-to-day bookkeeping support and assist with client work as directed.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable accurately and in a timely manner.
Prepare and process payroll for clients, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and client requirements.
Perform accurate bank and balance sheet reconciliations to maintain the integrity of client financial records.
Complete timely and accurate data entry of financial transactions into accounting systems.
Support the preparation of month-end and year-end financial information as required.
Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
Assist with ad hoc projects, administrative tasks and process improvement initiatives as required.
Provide support to the wider production team to ensure client work is completed efficiently, accurately and within agreed timeframes.
To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, you will:
Have a minimum of 2 – 3 years' experience in a reputable firm
Have experience using Xero and XPM
Be confident delegating work, managing workflow, and supervising staff
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
