Your responsibilities
Oversee the Governance workstream of the Accelerate Program, ensuring seamless coordination and outcome realisation.
Own high-level planning, execution, and overall progress tracking for the workstream.
Work closely with Stream Leadership (incl. Business Lead and Accountable Executive) and with support from Central Enablement to oversee and manage delivery, dependencies, risks, sequencing, and team alignment.
Drive alignment across other teams within the Program and the broader enterprise to meet timelines, quality standards, and business outcomes.
Define and implement workstream-level delivery packages and align with the overall program on sequencing and integration.
Lead the development of reporting material, critically assess statuses that are represented in line with delivery experience.
Deliver accurate and timely reporting of project status, risks,
and key performance indicators to senior stakeholders and governance forums.
Oversee change control and scope governance for the workstream, including continuously validating alignment to target state outcomes.
Ensure delivery artefacts meet program quality standards and are appropriately evidenced Champion delivery best practices and continuous improvement through effective team structures and knowledge sharing.
Foster a high-performance culture through team leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and clear accountability.
Be an active participant in the PM Community of Practice to contribute to capability uplift and delivery excellence.
Your experience and qualifications
Must have:
Proven experience in managing large or complex programs/projects across multiple delivery streams.
Exposure to Corporate Governance at board and management level, including board structures and reporting.
Solid background in hybrid delivery environments (Agile/Waterfall), particularly involving governance and reporting, and business outcomes.
Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and facilitation skills with the ability to manage stakeholders across all levels both within a program of work and business as usual environment.
Prior experience in leading and delivering transformation initiatives.
Skilled in delivery management, risk management, reporting, and change management.
Demonstrated experience with delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
Proactive approach can operate autonomously and applies critical thinking to everything you do.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong communication skills including experience preparing reports for senior leadership and governance forums.
Formal qualifications in Project Management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM).
Experience working in matrix organisations or highly regulated environments.
Exposure to Agile, Lean and Waterfall methodologies.
Experience in governance and reporting projects.
