Maintenance Electrician (Afternoon Shift)

The Role
We currently have a full-time opportunity within our Maintenance team for a qualified A-Grade Electrician on afternoon shift!
The shift hours will be Mon-Fri,2:30pm to 11:00pm
You will join a highly motivated and experienced team that provides time-critical electrical maintenance support to ensure the reliability, safety and performance of equipment across our Castlemaine manufacturing site.
About the Role
Diagnose and resolve electrical equipment breakdowns efficiently, minimising downtime and maintaining productivity in a safe manner.
Complete planned and preventative electrical maintenance activities to support equipment reliability.
Collaborate with maintenance and production team members to communicate equipment status, particularly during shift changes.
Maintain safety and compliance standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
Apply sound analytical and problem-solving skills when identifying and resolving electrical faults.
Maintain relevant registers, logs and systems to accurately track repairs, notifications and completed work activities.
Develop and maintain team-oriented working relationships across the Facilities & Services, Maintenance, Production, Planning and Engineering teams.

About You
To be considered for this role have current, full work rights in Australia.
Trade qualifications as an A Grade Electrician – this is a must,
unfortunately we cannot accept any applicants without this.
A minimum of two years' demonstrated electrical trade experience. Preferably in industrial/ food manufacturing environments.
A safety mindset with a robust commitment to ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
Sound understanding of reactive, planned and preventative maintenance systems and techniques.
Customer focused and conscious of production and maintenance timeframes.
Able to work and communicate effectively within a team environment.
Experience with similar equipment. Ie Industrial packaging equipment, bearings, seals, shaft repair, conveying systems, etc
