Your new role as Day Rehabilitation Coordinator:
Maitland Private Hospital gives skilled clinicians a platform to make tangible differences to service user's quality of life and improve health outcomes.
We currently have a full-time permanent opportunity for a highly motivated and committed Health Professional to join our friendly and supportive rehabilitation team.




The Day Rehabilitation Coordinator provides strategic and clinical leadership for the Day Rehabilitation service, overseeing service delivery to ensure safe, effective, and patient‐centred care.
The role leads workflow coordination, stakeholder and referrer engagement, and clinical governance processes, while fostering a high‐performing multidisciplinary team.
Through proactive planning, collaboration, and continuous improvement, the Coordinator supports the ongoing growth, quality, and sustainability of the service at Maitland Private Hospital.
The role offers opportunities to build leadership capability, contribute to service growth, and develop professionally within a supportive hospital environment.
About you (essential criteria):
Tertiary qualifications in related fields (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Nursing etc)
Minimum three years' experience essential.
Accreditation with appropriate professional body.
Current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
Highly developed prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated commitment to patient-centred care, professional development and quality improvement.
Strong collaborative interpersonal skills with well-developed verbal and written communication skills




Immunisation evidence and serology report in accordance with NSW Health
Australian permanent resident status or equivalent work rights required.
Desirable attributes:
Previous experience of leading a day rehabilitation service, including ensuring compliance with health funding models.
Competency with IT systems including patient tracking software.
