Liquor Sales Specialist – Regional Territory
$80,000 per annum + superannuation | Company vehicle | Fuel card | Product allowance
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Liquor Sales Specialist to manage and grow a portfolio of retail and hospitality accounts across regional territories.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who understands the liquor industry, enjoys building long-term customer relationships, and is comfortable working independently while travelling regularly.
You will represent a premium product portfolio, strengthen existing accounts, identify new business opportunities, and deliver engaging product education and promotional activations.
Key responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with venue managers, independent bottle shops, and regional hospitality operators.
Manage existing accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Undertake regular regional road travel, including overnight stays.
Conduct product tastings, staff masterclasses, and venue activations to increase brand awareness and support premium product sales.
Maintain strong in-store execution through effective shelf positioning, stock rotation, promotional displays, and visual merchandising.
Implement promotional calendars and negotiate trade agreements.
Work toward agreed quarterly sales and account growth targets.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and activity records in the company CRM.
Plan regional travel and account visits efficiently.
Ensure all activities comply with applicable Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements and other state or local regulations.
Safely handle and move product cases weighing up to *****kg.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will have:




At least 2–3 years of experience in liquor retail sales, beverage territory management, trade account representation, or a comparable role.
Strong knowledge of the liquor retail and hospitality sectors.
A current unrestricted driver licence and a clean driving record.
A valid Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
A current Approved Manager card.
The flexibility to undertake frequent regional travel and overnight stays.
Strong negotiation, sales, and relationship-management skills.
The ability to work independently and manage a regional territory effectively.
A skilled, reliable, and commercially focused approach.
The physical capacity to safely lift and handle product cases weighing up to *****kg.
Existing relationships within the liquor retail or hospitality industry will be highly regarded.
