This position is responsible for the evaluation and testing of raw materials to be used in the manufacture of conveyor belt as well as examination and testing of belt where quality issues arise to ensure the production of quality products
What you'll be doing:
Hands-on preparation of belt samplesPhysical testing of rubber samplesCarry out Instrument calibrationPreparation and testing of vulcanized test sheetsComply with outlined specificationsCarry out ad-hoc tasks as required
Job Responsibilities
Pre employment medical, laboratory drug and alcohol test, blood screening for baseline measurementsExperience in manufacturing or heavy engineering environment (desirable)2 years working in a material testing laboratoryExperience with testing and evaluation of rubber compounds and rubber chemicals2 years' experience working with a quality management system /structureExcellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-taskHold full Australian work rights
