About the Role: The Financial Reporting & Business Advisor provides high‐quality financial, accounting and reporting advice to support the Premier's Department, The Cabinet Office and Aboriginal Languages Trust.
The role is responsible for statutory and financial reporting, reconciliations, end‐of‐month processing, and the administration of key financial systems to ensure accuracy, compliance and integrity of financial data.
You will work closely with the external transactional services providers on financial matters to resolve complex financial issues and drive continuous improvement.To learn more about the role, please review the Role Description.We're Looking For:Accounting Operations: Demonstrated experience in delivering productive accounting services, including end of month processing, issue resolution, operational support for the Finance Unit, and participation in special projects.
Support the Department's International Trade and Investment offices with processing recoups to the offices' overseas bank accounts.
Financial Reporting: Proven capability to provide support for statutory and financial reporting across the Department, TCO, and ALT.
Financial Systems: Experienced in supporting financial systems including online banking, cash forecasting and support platforms, providing coaching on related processes.
Financial Analysis & Assurance: Demonstrated ability to review financial reconciliations and reporting prepared by GovConnect NSW, ensuring accurate issue resolution and service delivery standards.
Accounts & Transaction Management: Experience in coordinating corporate account management and payments, prepare accruals, adjustment journals and support financial information.We value diverse experiences.
