I'm currently seeking experienced Trade Qualified Boilermakers to join a busy workshop in Mount Thorley, NSW, carrying out the repair, maintenance and fabrication of heavy mining equipment.

The Role Location: Mount Thorley, NSW (Workshop Based) Pay Rate: Up to $***** per hour + penalties, depending on experience Roster: Monday - Friday (potential for weekend work) Hours: ***** hour days Employment: Ongoing, full-time opportunity Start Date: Immediate start available Key Responsibilities Carry out repair, maintenance and fabrication of heavy mining equipment Perform Flux Core (FCAW) welding on heavy metal components Read and interpret engineering drawings to complete fabrication tasks accurately Fabricate, cut, weld and assemble heavy steel components to specification Diagnose and repair worn or damaged plant and equipment components Carry out fault-finding and structural repairs on fixed plant and mobile mining equipment Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop environment Work within quality and safety standards on all fabrication and repair tasks What We're Looking For Trade Qualified Boilermaker (Certificate III Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent)



Demonstrated experience with Flux Core (FCAW) welding Strong background in heavy metal fabrication Experience repairing mining equipment or heavy industrial machinery Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Current driver's licence and reliable transport Relevant trade qualifications, tickets and licences Highly Regarded Previous Leading Hand, Supervisor or other leadership experience Forklift, Overhead Crane, Dogging, Rigging, Working at Heights, Confined Space or other relevant industry tickets Experience working in mining, heavy industrial or fixed plant maintenance environments What's On Offer Up to $***** per hour + penalties, depending on experience Consistent roster with overtime available Stable workshop-based role – home every night Immediate start available for the right candidates Prospect to join a reputable business servicing the mining industry If you're an experienced Trade Qualified Boilermaker with Flux Core welding and heavy fabrication experience and are looking for a long-term opportunity with excellent earning potential through overtime, we want to hear from you.
