Job DescriptionFH&A; bakehouse Key Duties and Responsibilities Prepare, mix, mould and bake breads, sourdoughs, brioche buns, pastries and other baked products according to recipes and production schedules.
Measure and weigh ingredients accurately to maintain consistency and product quality.
Monitor baking processes and adjust oven temperatures, proofing times and production schedules where required.
Operate and maintain bakery equipment including mixers, ovens, dough sheeters, bun rounders and proofers.
Produce artisan breads and laminated pastry products to company specifications.
Ensure products meet established quality standards and presentation requirements.
Assist in developing current products and improving existing recipes to meet customer demand.
Maintain stock levels of ingredients and report shortages or quality concerns.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment and storage facilities.




Work collaboratively with the production team to achieve daily production targets.
Skills and Experience Minimum 1-3 years' relevant experience as a Baker.
Experience producing artisan breads, sourdough products, brioche buns and pastries is highly desirable.
Sound knowledge of food safety and quality assurance procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Availability to work early mornings, weekends and public holidays as required.
