About the RoleAs our Assistant Store Manager, you'll work closely with the Store Manager to support day-to-day operations of the business.
This is a dynamic and rewarding role that combines leadership, customer service, merchandising and buying.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting the day-to-day operations of the storeLeading, motivating and supporting a close-knit teamDelivering exceptional customer serviceSelecting, buying and pricing quality second-hand baby and children's itemsCreating attractive product displays and merchandising the storeMaintaining high presentation standards throughout the storeHelping customers find the products that best suit their family's needsOpening and closing the store when requiredAssisting with stock management and store organisationAbout YouWe're looking for someone who:Has at least 1 year of retail supervisory or leadership experienceIs reliable, organised and punctualHas excellent communication and customer service skillsLeads by example with a positive attitudeTakes initiative and enjoys solving problemsCan confidently lead and motivate a teamIs able to adapt to busy retail periodsDesirable but not essential:Visual merchandising experienceBuying or retail merchandising experienceExperience working with children's or baby productsLooking for a long-term opportunity with a growing local businessWhy Join Mum 2 Mum?
