ll join the Western Newcastle Community Nursing team, a nurse-led and highly collaborative service delivering care across the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie LGAs.
Working Monday to Friday (8:00am?4:30pm), you?

ll provide high-quality, person-centred care in the home and community, working closely with clients, families and the multidisciplinary team.Your role will include generalist and specialist nursing care such as wound management, medication administration (including IV therapy in partnership with the Out and About Team), continence care, PEG tube management, intercostal drain care and diabetes education.
You will also support palliative care clients in collaboration with the Mater Hospital Palliative Care team, with access to Nurse Practitioners and Clinical Nurse Specialists for clinical guidance.
From day one you?
ll receive a structured orientation with support from experienced mentors, Nurse Practitioners and Clinical Nurse Specialists.
Ongoing professional development is also provided with regular opportunities for feedback, support and skill development within a supportive team environment.Community nursing experience is highly regarded; however, Registered Nurses with a minimum of 12 months?
experience are encouraged to apply, with education and support provided.About YouYou are a motivated and adaptable Registered Nurse with a passion for community care.
