Your new role
This is a permanent opportunity for a qualified Signwriter to lead a small team of two in a Mackay-based operation.
Working Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm, you will take a hands-on role in both production and installation while overseeing day-to-day operations.
Your responsibilities will include fabricating corflute and ACM signage, vinyl cutting, laminating and job packing, as well as installing and maintaining indoor and outdoor signage, vehicle graphics and digital signage.
You will be preparing surfaces, ensuring client property is protected onsite, and operating a range of production equipment including wide-format printers, vinyl cutters/plotters and laminators (CNC/router experience is advantageous).
In addition to your technical work, you will mentor junior team members,



assist with job planning to ensure timelines are met, support basic quoting and materials lists, and help maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
What you'll need to succeed
Trade qualification in Signwriting and relevant experience
Must be based locally in Mackay

Confident working with signage production equipment
Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset
Proven problem-solving ability with a calm approach
Ability to work independently or lead a small team
Good communication and organisational skills
