Synopsis
Population Health and Wellbeing Coordinator
Permanent part-time role – 30 hours per week $***** per hour + superannuation

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Population Health and Wellbeing Coordinator to help drive initiatives that improve health, wellbeing and social outcomes across our municipality.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead initiatives that improve community wellbeing Coordinate the planning, delivery and evaluation of health and wellbeing projects that support Council's strategic priorities and Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan.
Your work will help address community needs, promote prevention and strengthen community resilience.Turn evidence into action Analyse demographic, health and social data to identify emerging trends, inform planning and support evidence-based decision making.
You'll help ensure Council's programs and initiatives respond to real community needs and deliver measurable outcomes.Build partnerships that create impact Develop and maintain strong relationships with community organisations, government agencies, health providers, educational institutions and regional networks.
You'll bring people together to maximise resources, strengthen collaboration and achieve shared outcomes.Coordinate projects from concept to completion Manage a range of projects and initiatives, including planning, implementation, stakeholder engagement, funding requirements, monitoring and evaluation.
You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered successfully and achieve lasting community benefit.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who can combine strategic thinking with strong relationship-building skills and a genuine passion for improving community wellbeing.
You Will Bring
Experience delivering community development,
health promotion or population health initiatives.
Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Experience analysing data, research and community information to inform planning and decision making.
Excellent communication skills, including report writing, facilitation and stakeholder engagement.
Knowledge of contemporary public health, health promotion or community development principles.
A qualification in Public Health, Health Promotion, Community Development or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
