About The Role
Join Grampians Health as an Endoscopy Scope Theatre Technician in our Perioperative Day Procedure Unit.
This role offers the chance to contribute to high-quality patient care in our state-of-the-art Endoscopy suite, open Monday to Friday, with shifts available between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Ideal for someone committed to excellence and eager to grow in a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
Support theatre setup, patient transport and equipment maintenanceAssist with patient positioning under supervision of senior staffDeliver care in a first-class facility focused on compassion and qualityNo formal qualifications required; comprehensive training provided
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Surgeon/Anaesthetist to position patients safely and respectfully for proceduresPrepare and maintain operating suite equipmentSafely handle specialty equipment and report issues for maintenanceTransport, clean and porter as directedManage disposal of soiled linen and consumablesAttend department meetings and participate in professional development reviews
Skills & Experience
Effective time management skillsDemonstrated Interpersonal skillsA desire to work towards obtaining Cert III in Health Services Assistance (Operating Theatre Support) would be highly regardedPrevious experience working in a healthcare environment would be an advantage
