About the RoleWe are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our Digital Orebody Knowledge (OBK) solutions across the mining and geotechnical sectors.
This role will be based in our Corporate Head Office in Balcatta.
This is a unique opportunity to combine your geotechnical expertise with strong business development skills to drive the adoption of cutting-edge data analytics and machine learning technologies.
You will play a key role in expanding our footprint, building long-term partnerships, and contributing to IMDEX's growth strategy.
Responsibilities Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within mining and geotechnical organisationsPromote Digital OBK solutions,



including machine learning and advanced data analytics capabilitiesEngage with key stakeholders to understand operational challenges and position data-driven solutionsBuild and maintain strong, trusted customer relationships across technical and executive audiencesSupport the adoption and integration of digital technologies across customer operationsCollaborate with internal technical and product teams to deliver tailored solutionsContribute to market insights, innovation, and thought leadership in geotechnical and digital transformationRepresent IMDEX at industry events, conferences, and client engagements
About YouYou are a commercially savvy geotechnical qualified who thrives at the intersection of technology, data, and customer value.
Key Requirements:A degree in Engineering or related discipline is requiredProven experience in business development, sales, geotechnical consulting or commercial roles within mining, exploration, geoscienceStrong understanding of orebody knowledge, drilling, or subsurface data workflowsExposure to or interest in digital technologies, data analytics, or machine learningDemonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholdersExcellent communication and presentation skills
