SBS and Mechanical are currently seeking expressions of interest for skilled and motivated Maintenance Planners to join our dynamic team.
This role is crucial in maintaining and servicing heavy mobile mining equipment to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
Roster: 8:6 roster FIFO from Perth, WALocation: Pilbara WA Region
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement maintenance planning strategies to minimize downtime and enhance equipment performance.
Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to plan, track, and report on maintenance activities.
Create and manage detailed maintenance schedules, ensuring all tasks are effectively planned and resourced.
Oversee stores coordination, managing inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and supplies.
Provide guidance and mentorship to the other team members.
Collaborate with maintenance teams, project managers, and stakeholders to prioritize and schedule tasks efficiently.
Identify and assess risks within the maintenance planning process, implementing solutions to improve efficiency.
Maintain accurate work orders,



asset history, and maintenance records for compliance and reporting.
Track and analyse maintenance performance, including cost, time, and resource efficiency, driving continuous improvement.
Ensure all maintenance activities align with safety and environmental regulations.
Foster a high-quality culture, emphasizing safety, reliability, and compliance in all maintenance operations.
The Ideal Candidate:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a maintenance planning role, ideally within the resources or industrial sector.
Relevant Australian-recognized trade or tertiary qualifications.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
Experience working in cross-functional teams with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proven ability to lead preventative maintenance planning and scheduling for optimal equipment reliability.
Hands-on experience using CMMS for maintenance scheduling and reporting.
Proactive problem solver, continuously improving processes to enhance efficiency.
High attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and compliance.
