Why You'll Love This Role
This is an opportunity to play a critical role in protecting and enhancing the City's urban forest.
You'll lead inspections, provide specialist arboricultural advice and help shape the City's response to PSHB.
What You'll Be Doing
Conduct PSHB and tree health inspections
Assess pruning, removal and risk requests
Maintain accurate tree asset records
Create and manage PSHB mapping
Provide arboricultural advice and guidance
Supervise contractors and field activities
Monitor compliance with management standards
Support tree management programs citywide

Qualifications
What You'll Bring
We're looking for an experienced tree management professional passionate about protecting urban tree assets.
You'll ideally bring:
Certificate III in Arboriculture or equivalent
Experience in urban tree management
Solid tree identification and biology knowledge
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Experience managing contractors and stakeholders
Sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Current driver license and police clearance
PSHB management experience highly regarded
