Provide clinical Physiotherapy services to children and their families within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service, working as part of a multidisciplinary team at our Southport facility!
The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Physiotherapist to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our ******-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Deliver clinical physiotherapy services in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards
Develop appropriate plans for clients in accordance with evidence-based practice and service guidelines
Work cooperatively and effectively within physiotherapy and multidisciplinary teams
Deliver Paediatric physiotherapy assessments and interventions to children presenting with complex and diverse developmental and behavioural difficulties
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
The possession of a tertiary degree in Physiotherapy from a recognised tertiary institution
Registration as a Physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Driver Licence
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Permanent part-time (30.4 hours per fortnight)
Base salary ranging from $***** - $***** per hour
About Us
This physiotherapy position will work within Community Child Health which is part of the Women's and Children's Health Services directorate.
There are several multidisciplinary teams working within this directorate including the Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder clinic which sits within the Child Development Service.
The focus of these services is to provide high quality assessment and intervention services for children who present with developmental delays and difficulties.
