About the role
This is a unique opportunity to lead within a progressive and evolving service that is redefining how we respond to people who use violence and controlling behaviours.
Grounded in prevention, accountability, and change, the service prioritises innovation, rigorous evaluation, and responsive practice.
We are seeking a leader who is passionate about understanding impact, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring programs remain at the leading edge of contemporary family and domestic violence intervention.
Leadership includes day-to-day planning, design, development, delivery, and coordination of services,



proactive monitoring and evaluation and supporting team members through performance coaching and feedback, goal setting and development.
The role will identify and understand team goals and evaluate team progress, providing regular and ad hoc reporting on program activities to set deadlines.
We are seeking 1 full time role, ideally to be based at Wayville.

About you
You will bring:
A demonstrated understanding of domestic and family violence and the impact of violence.
Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology or equivalent with extensive experience in the family violence sector or closely related field
Personal commitment to the practice and principles of non-violence, justice, social inclusion and gender equity issues.
Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise the delivery of case management/ therapeutic interventions and staff delivering these as appropriate.
Demonstrated people leadership experience overseeing professionals within a counselling, mental health, wellbeing, or human services environment.
Working knowledge of the criminal justice system, including responses to Domestic, Family and/or Sexual Violence, and support services and referral parties available to individuals with high and or complex needs
A National Police Clearance and a Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).
A current driver's licence.
