The Multimedia Officer supports this by developing and maintaining quality online products, that ultimately support and educate IP Australia's internal (staff) and external (customer) audiences.
They utilise contemporary design methodologies to develop innovative and engaging rich content solutions.
They also work with subject matter experts to assess the scope and intended outcomes to determine the most appropriate medium for delivery.
The role requires creative flair and experience in developing high quality content across multiple formats.
Experience in rich content production, including storyboarding, scripting, filming and postproduction is highly desirable.
The key duties of the position include:The Multimedia Officer will:
Design, develop and deliver rich content solutions, including online education videos (including live action and animation), traditional learning and learning support materials for IP Australia's initiatives
Be responsible for pre-production, production (film setup and interviewing) and post-production of education videos for the agency
Review, evaluate and update IP Australia's rich content
Provide subject matter expertise to others in the design and development of rich content
Translate audience and communication needs into engaging solutions
Participate in communities of practice and other knowledge sharing forums
Engage with stakeholders on design, testing and evaluation
Provide project coordination and support to a range of projects.
EligibilityUnder section 22(8) of the Public Service Act ****, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the Australian Public Service (APS).
All applicants offered employment will be required to successfully undergo a pre-engagement screening check, even if they have a security clearance.
The screening check involves reviewing your background & personal circumstances to minimise risks in giving access to IP Australia information/resources.
This screening check is conducted in accordance with the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework requirements.

The successful applicant must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information.
NotesWe are looking to fill this position on a non-ongoing basis initially with the potential of it becoming ongoing.
At the end of the recruitment process, a merit pool of suitable candidates may be created.
Those found suitable will be advised that they have been placed in the pool.
The merit pool is valid for 18 months from the date the process was advertised.
Future positions may be offered as on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis subject to operational requirements.
