About the Role
Are you looking for a hands-on role where no two days are the same?
CMV Farms is seeking an experienced Orchard Operator / Farm Hand to join our pistachio farm in Robinvale, Victoria for a fulltime role.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating machinery and being part of a practical, safety-focused team.
The successful applicant will be required to work some weekends and shift work, including nights, when needed throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities
Tractor operation and general machinery maintenance
Tree pruning with a chainsaw and secateurs
Harvest machinery operation
Irrigation maintenance
Orchard maintenance and manual field work
Land and soil preparation, including spraying fertiliser and pesticide solutions
Orchard development work
Skills and Experience
Demonstrated experience in farm machinery operation, including tractor experience
Attention to detail
Strong written and verbal skills
Chemical certification desirable
Team player and willingness to learn new skills
Safety-focused mindset
Comfortable working autonomously
Current Driver's Licence essential
Must have full-time Australian work rights
