ACCOUNTS OFFICER
Patience Bulk Haulage is a locally owned and operated family business in Geraldton WA, which continues to deliver service and support to the mining, construction, civil and agricultural industries through the provision of safe, reliable and sustainable bulk haulage services throughout the Geraldton - Midwest, Gascoyne and Pilbara regions.
We are currently seeking a Geraldton resident who is a suitably experienced Accounts Officer to join our team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role of the Accounts Officer will be to support our Finance, Operations and Maintenance Departments with selected financial, clerical and administration functions.
This is a permanent full-time position Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
MAIN DUTIES:
To provide financial, clerical and administrative services and support to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of accounts receivable and the generation of invoices that require payment are performed in accordance with our accounts management policies, procedures and processing requirements.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL:
Proven previous accounts administration experience with the ability to manage client accounts,
including accounts payable and receivable invoices, manage deadlines and maintain meticulous financial records.
Minimum 5 years proven experience in accounts, Cert IV in accounting, finance or similar will be held in high regard
Proficient and literate in account management software programs.
Proficient and literate in Microsoft Office Suite of programs with an Intermediate or Advanced Level Achievement, particularly in Excel
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise, set and achieve goals, through productive time management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a courteous and professional attitude.
High level professionalism when communicating with customers, management and colleagues.
Willing to complete a pre-employment medical
Applicants must hold a current National Police Clearance, or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement
DESIRABLE
Previous experience transport industry is advantageous, however not essential.
Experience in CMS Freight **** or similar transport management software program will be held in high regard.
