We are seeking an experienced Tax and Accounting Manager to lead our team and deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage tax compliance, including preparation and review of tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts.
Provide expert advice on tax planning and strategies to optimize client outcomes.
Manage and mentor a team of accountants, fostering professional growth and development.
Review and finalize financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Australian accounting standards.
Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and accounting regulations.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
Develop and implement efficient processes to improve practice performance.
Liaise with regulatory bodies, including the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
Qualifications:
CPA/CA qualification or equivalent.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in tax and accounting, preferably within a public practice firm.
Strong technical knowledge of Australian tax laws and accounting standards.
Proven experience in managing a team and client portfolio.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or similar platforms.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
