About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to provide safe, consistent care for a participant with complex mental health & behavioural support needs.
This role requires someone who is calm, confident, and able to provide structure, emotional regulation support, and proactive care.
You will:
Provide safe, person-centred support that promotes independence, emotional stability, and daily living skills, including personal care and meal preparation.
Collaborate with management and the wider team to deliver positive participant outcomes.
Provide behaviour support that promotes stability, safety, and independence at home and in the community.
Confidently support participants with high-intensity behaviours and physical support needs.
Maintain accurate documentation and incident reporting.
Show empathy, patience and a commitment to participant wellbeing.
Ideal but not mandatory:
Certificate in mental health or equivalent
Maybo Training – Positive Behaviour Support or similar
Roster
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 8am - 4pm

Working with Children Check
NDIS Orientation Module Certificate
First Aid and CPR Certificate
Australian Driver's Licence
Minimum 2 years' experience in complex disability care
Experience with Psychosocial Disability
