Early Learning on Rossi, located in Country Yass NSW, is a
private family owned and operated Early Childhood Education and Care Service, with Provider Approval under Falcam Pty Ltd for over 17 years.
Early Learning on Rossi (ELOR) is an established Child Safe Organisation, employing child safe employee's who are committed to prioritising children's safety, wellbeing, and protection.
ELOR is licensed for 100 children per day, operates 52 weeks a year, from 7am-6pm daily.
Roles:
Certificate III Early Childhood Educator:
37.5 hours, permanent part-time, 5 days per week.
Award wages commence from $***** per hour and are negotiated on experience.
Immediate start.
Must meet or be willing to meet the essential requirements.
Inclusion support role
Traineeship in Early Childhood:
38 hours per week, full-time contract, 5 days per week.
Award wages depend on age and School leaving status, starting from $***** per hour, for school leavers in Year 10 and increases for every year out.
Immediate start.
Must be 16 years old and understand a traineeship is an 18 month binding contract.
First Aid certificate is desired but can be achieved whilst employed.
Working above and beyond ratio giving you time to learn on the job!
Diploma Trained Educator:
37.5 hours, permanent part time, 5 days per week.
Award Wages commence from $***** per hour and are negoiated on experience.
Start in 2 weeks time.
Must meet or be willing to meet the essential requirements.
Child Safe Criteria:
This position has been identified as child related work and only child safe applicants need apply.
We will require a current WWCC, to assess a person's ability to work safely with children, based on any known incidents that indicate the person poses a risk of harm.
Applicants will be subject to restriction and probation checks, including qualification checks




You will be assessed on your commitment prioritising children being paramount in your values, practice and work history.
You will have an understanding and be able to clearly explain your Child Protection obligations as a Mandatory Reporter, be able to articulate when to report and demonstrate how to report child protection concerns
Past child related employment details, dates and contact details are to support your application
Provide two past child related work- based employer references from a supervisor for reference checks to be conducted, one from your most recent previous employer.
Successful employment requires your details to be uploaded onto the National Early Childhood Workers Register.
Non-Australians residents or citizens, only need apply with Australia work rights as per their visa, applicants are subject to VEVO checks.
Essential Qualifications:
Current Early Childhood Qualifications with corresponding transcripts (Not for traineeships)
Hold a current First Aid Certificate- Child Care approved (HLTAID012)
Food Handlers Basics – NSW Food Authority
National Child Safety Training Certificate
Past Child Protection Training
Any other Early Childhood Training or Professional Development Certificates
