About The Role
Calvary Health Care is seeking motivated and experienced Anaesthetic Nurses to join the dynamic Perioperative Suite at Calvary Adelaide Hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced and highly specialised environment committed to clinical excellence, innovation and patient-centred care.
Our Perioperative Suite features 20 theatres and procedural areas, providing exposure to a broad range of specialties including:
Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Robotics, ENT and Paediatrics
We are looking for passionate and adaptable nurses who thrive in a collaborative team environment and are committed to delivering outstanding patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluationWork collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomesContribute to the coordination of care and support best practice clinical standardsMaintain accountability for professional practice and delegated care responsibilitiesSupport a culture of continuous improvement, learning and teamwork
About You
Current AHPRA registrationMinimum 3 years' experience in Perioperative Nursing with a focus on AnaestheticsPostgraduate qualifications in Anaesthetics are highly regarded but not essentialStrong clinical knowledge and sound decision-making skillsExcellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skillsA positive, adaptable and team-focused approachA genuine commitment to professional development and supporting othersAlignment with a mission-based organisation committed to compassionate care
