Take a look at our work here:
About the Role
This is a hands on leadership role at the centre of our production operation.
As Production Manager you'll lead a small team while working alongside them every day.
You'll oversee workflow, maintain quality standards, solve production challenges and help ensure every job leaves our workshop to the highest standard.
While you'll spend some time in the office and coordinating production, we're looking for someone who enjoys working with machinery, improving processes, mentoring people and getting satisfaction from making high-quality products.
Experience in printing is highly regarded, but we'll also consider applicants from manufacturing, signage, fabrication,
industrial production or similar industries who have strong leadership skills, machinery aptitude and a willingness to learn our specialised processes.
Key Responsibilities
Production Leadership
Lead and support a small production team.
Coordinate daily workflow to meet production deadlines.
Ensure products meet our high quality standards.
Foster a positive, safe and collaborative workplace.
Production & Manufacturing
Work alongside the team operating specialist production equipment.
Assist with printing, finishing, assembly and packing.
Troubleshoot production and equipment issues.
Help improve production efficiency and workflow.
Planning & Quality
Prepare and check print ready files, create technical drawings.
Schedule production jobs and allocate resources.
Maintain quality control throughout production.
Coordinate equipment maintenance.
Continuous Improvement
Identify better ways of working.
Train and mentor staff.
Help develop production systems as the business grows.
What You'll Bring
We're more interested in your attitude and practical ability than ticking every box.
You'll ideally have:
Experience in print production, manufacturing, signage, fabrication, engineering,
industrial production or a similar hands on environment.
Previous experience leading or supervising a small team (or the desire to step into leadership).
Strong practical problem solving skills.
A hands on approach and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
Mechanical aptitude and confidence learning new equipment and processes.
Basic Adobe Illustrator experience
Excellent attention to detail.
Australian work rights.
Why Join Us?
Secure, full time position with an established Australian manufacturer.
Long term career opportunity with a stable business.
Be trusted to make decisions and genuinely influence how we operate.
Variety every day—no two jobs are the same.
Learn specialised manufacturing skills unique to our industry.
Supportive small team where your contribution is recognised.
Monday–1/2 day Friday role – enjoy your weekends.
Beautiful Northern NSW lifestyle.
Relocation assistance may be considered for the right candidate.
You'll thrive in this role if you:
Enjoy working with your hands and solving practical problems.
Like leading by example rather than managing from an office.
Take pride in producing quality work.
Are looking for a long term career with a stable local business.
Enjoy learning new skills and improving processes.
Prefer being part of a close knit team where everyone contributes.
Does this sound like you, if so we'd love to hear from you!
