The Lord Byron is seeking a proactive, enthusiastic and self-motivated Receptionists to join our team to help effectively run day-to-day operations of the hotel and create memorable experiences with all our guests.
Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager, your primary responsibility is ensuring a high level of guest service at all times across the hotel.We are offering a minimum of 3 shifts per week with the opportunity for more hours for the right candidate.
A day in the life of an Receptionist consists of:
Lead by example and create a welcoming experience for guests to the hotel whilst providing prompt, courteous and efficient service from the first point of contact at check-in through to the last at check-out.
Finding common ground with our guests,



building human connection and ensuring their stay is a memorable experience by creating that WOW factor.
Meeting and exceeding guest expectations and handling customer complaints in an effective and proactive manner.
Daily liaison with maintenance and housekeeping for guest movements, requests and activities.
To be successful in this role, we are searching for a person who has:
Experience in a similar role is preferred.
Excellent time management, communication and customer service skills.
Previous experience with CMS GuestCentrix PMS and Siteminder Channel Manager is highly favourable.
Must have unlimited work rights in Australia.
Flexibility to work various shifts including week-ends, evenings and public holidays.
The role can work on set days to accommodate a secondary income.
