Hydraulic Engineer
Building Services | Adelaide
Join a collaborative and growing Building Services team delivering high-quality projects across Adelaide and nationally.
We are looking for a Hydraulic Engineer with around 3–6 years' experience to support the delivery of a diverse pipeline of projects across the built environment.
This role offers the opportunity to develop your technical capability, gain exposure to complex multidisciplinary projects, and contribute to defence and secure infrastructure work.
The chance
As a Hydraulic Engineer, you will contribute to the design and delivery of hydraulic services across a variety of building projects, working closely with experienced engineers and other disciplines.
You will play a key role in supporting project delivery while continuing to develop your design and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design and documentation of hydraulic services including water, sewer, stormwater and gas systemsSupport delivery of projects from concept design through to constructionPrepare technical drawings, reports and specificationsCoordinate with internal disciplines including electrical, mechanical, fire and sustainabilityContribute to project delivery ensuring quality,
budget and programme outcomesWork closely with senior engineers and contribute to team collaborationSupport site inspections and stakeholder coordination where required
About You
Degree qualified in Engineering (or equivalent relevant qualification)3–6 years' experience within Building Services, ideally in a consulting environmentUnderstanding of hydraulic design principles and relevant Australian standardsExperience using design and documentation tools such as AutoCAD and RevitStrong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary teamProactive mindset with a willingness to learn and developWorking towards Chartered status (desirable)Must hold Australian citizenship due to defence-related project requirements
