MaptekTM has an exciting opportunity within our dedicated and growing Technical Services Team, we are looking for a driven mining engineer to join our team.
As a key part of our team, your responsibilities will focus on providing technical expertise, consulting and application support services to existing and recent customers across a variety of mining domains throughout Australia and the world.
Your focus will be on providing a broad range of technical services for the Mine Planning and Mine Operations areas of Maptek.
This will include product implementations, upgrades and professional services as a Maptek product subject matter expert (SME), as well as input into product development.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a mining professional who has a passion for technology and motivation to help effect operational improvements.

Your skills and experience: Essential
University Degree or Postgraduate qualifications in Surveying, Mining Engineering or Geology with some related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
At least three years relevant work experience
Excellent knowledge of customer service principles, practices and technique
Strong organisational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A desire to challenge yourself and continuously improve
Desirable
Vocational qualifications in sales or customer service
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE*****)
Extensive knowledge and experience in surveying, mine engineering, exploration or mine geology
Previous knowledge of and experience using Maptek products
