We are seeking an analytically driven and trend-aware Retail Buyer to join our team.
In this role, you will curate and manage our product categories, ensuring our shelves are stocked with products that excite our customers and drive sales.

Key Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Source, select and purchase grocery and food products.
Negotiate prices, delivery terms and supplier agreements.
Monitor stock levels and forecast purchasing requirements.
Analyse sales trends and customer demand.
Liaise with suppliers, warehouse and sales teams - sales promotions.
Maintain purchasing records and prepare reports.
Ensure products meet business and regulatory requirements.
Determine the quantity, style, quality and range of products to be purchased.
Plan buying according to seasonal demand, budgets and sales targets.
Liaise with management regarding product planning, and long-term buying strategy.
Qualification & experience
The successful applicant must have:
Relevant qualification, preferably AQF Diploma (or) higher qualification
in Leadership and Management.




One or two-year experience in Retail buying, purchasing or procurement.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Good computer and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work full time, 38 hours per week.
Experience in food wholesale (or) grocery products will be highly regarded.
