First Nations Clean Energy Network | Original Power
Are you passionate about supporting First Nations communities to shape Australia's clean energy future?
The First Nations Clean Energy Network is seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator (South Australia) to grow the Network's presence across South Australia by building trusted relationships with First Nations communities, Traditional Owners, Aboriginal organisations, government and industry.
Working alongside the SA Engagement and Project Lead, you'll support community engagement, capacity building and partnerships that strengthen First Nations participation in the clean energy transition.

We support community-led clean energy, advocate for policy reform and strengthen partnerships that create long-term opportunities for First Nations communities.
About the role
This fixed-term position can be undertaken part-time or full time and is based in South Australia.
The salary is $110,000 pro rata, plus access to salary packaging.
Working with communities and key stakeholders, you will:
Build trusted relationships with First Nations communities and Traditional Owners.
Coordinate community meetings, workshops and engagement activities.
Strengthen partnerships with government, industry and community organisations.
Support community capacity building and clean energy literacy.
Assist with delivery of key South Australian Network initiatives and clean energy projects.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
Builds strong, trusted stakeholder relationships.
Has experience coordinating community engagement activities, workshops or events.
Is an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills.
Can work independently, manage competing priorities and is willing to undertake travel across South Australia.
Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure or Traditional Owner engagement will be highly regarded.
This position is designated as a First Nations Identified Position.
